Frequently asked questions

Can I convert text in Hindi or other languages?

Yes. Hindi, Marathi and Nepali use a bundled Devanagari font, and Cyrillic, Greek and many other scripts use a Unicode font, so every letter shows correctly.

Will my line breaks and spacing be kept?

Line breaks are always kept. Choose “Monospace” to also keep spaces and columns exactly as in the file, which suits logs, code and tables made of spaces.

Can I add line numbers?

Yes. Tick “Show line numbers” under “More options”. Long lines wrap and keep the same number.

Can I combine several text files into one PDF?

Yes. Add them all; each file starts on a new page. Untick “Combine all files into one PDF” under “More options” to get one PDF per file.

Are my files uploaded to a server?

No. This tool runs entirely in your browser, so your files stay on your device and are never sent anywhere. It even works with the internet switched off.
