Press “Prepare text”, then paste or upload the result into the AI tool you use.
Frequently asked questions
Is my document sent to an AI service?
No. Nothing is sent anywhere. The tool only prepares the text; you decide where to use it.
Why split a document into chunks?
AI tools and search systems (RAG) work best with pieces of a few hundred to a few thousand tokens. Each chunk keeps its page numbers and section so answers can cite them.
What is cleaned up?
Headers, footers and page numbers that repeat on every page are removed, and headings and lists become Markdown.
Which format should I choose?
One .md file to paste into a chat, a ZIP of .md files to upload as separate documents, or JSONL for developers building search or embeddings.
Is it free, and are there limits?
It is currently free, with no sign-up, no daily limit on files and no watermark added to your results.
