Add the PDF. Its current bookmarks are listed.
Rename, change the page, move up or down, or indent bookmarks to nest them. Add new ones or delete old ones.
Press “Save bookmarks” and download the PDF.

Where do bookmarks appear?
In the sidebar or bookmarks panel of PDF readers such as Acrobat, Preview, Chrome and Edge, as a clickable list of sections.
How do I nest a bookmark under another?
Use the right arrow button to move it in a level. It becomes a child of the bookmark above it.
Can I make a bookmark for every page?
Yes. Press “One per page” to create them, then rename the ones you need.
Does this change the pages?
No. Only the bookmark list changes; the page content stays exactly the same.
Are my files uploaded to a server?
No. This tool runs entirely in your browser, so your files stay on your device and are never sent anywhere. It even works with the internet switched off.
