Frequently asked questions

How does it find tables?

It looks for lines of text split into the same columns, one under another. Paragraphs and headings around the tables are ignored.

Can it handle more than one table on a page?

Yes. Tables separated by text or space are kept apart, and each one gets its own sheet or CSV file.

Can I check the tables before using them?

Yes. After extraction you see a preview of every table found, labelled with its page and number.

Does it work on tables without borders?

Yes. Lines and borders aren’t needed, only text that sits in clear columns.

Are my files uploaded to a server?

No. This tool runs entirely in your browser, so your files stay on your device and are never sent anywhere. It even works with the internet switched off.
