Check each box, press “Redact and download”, and read the check that confirms the content is gone.
Frequently asked questions
Is the redacted text really gone?
Yes. Pages with redactions are rebuilt as images with the boxes burned in, and the original text and images on them are deleted from the file.
Can I still search the redacted pages?
Turn on OCR under “More options” to make the remaining text on those pages searchable again.
Are my files uploaded to a server?
No. This tool runs entirely in your browser, so your files stay on your device and are never sent anywhere. It even works with the internet switched off.
Is it free, and are there limits?
It is currently free, with no sign-up, no daily limit on files and no watermark added to your results.
