Frequently asked questions

Which layout suits slides and handouts?

Two pages per sheet are easy to read. Four or six suit slide handouts, and nine or sixteen work for thumbnails and proofreading.

Can I choose the page order?

Yes. Under “More options”, choose across then down, or down then across. Right to left is available for Arabic, Hebrew and manga.

Does the sheet turn sideways automatically?

Yes. With “Auto”, the orientation that makes the pages largest is chosen, such as landscape for two portrait pages.

Does the text stay sharp when it is made smaller?

Yes. Pages are placed as vector content, so text stays crisp and selectable at any size.

Are my files uploaded to a server?

No. This tool runs entirely in your browser, so your files stay on your device and are never sent anywhere. It even works with the internet switched off.
