Frequently asked questions
Which field types can I add?
Text boxes (one or several lines), checkboxes, radio buttons, dropdown lists and signature fields.
How do radio buttons work?
Buttons with the same group name belong together, so only one of them can be chosen. Give each button its own value, such as Yes or No.
Can people sign the form?
Yes. Signature fields are empty boxes that apps such as Adobe Acrobat Reader let people sign. You can also fill and sign forms with our Fill PDF form and Sign PDF tools.
Will the form work in every PDF reader?
Text fields, checkboxes, radio buttons and dropdowns work in browsers, Acrobat, Preview and most mobile apps. Signature fields need a reader that supports signing.
Are my files uploaded to a server?
No. This tool runs entirely in your browser, so your files stay on your device and are never sent anywhere. It even works with the internet switched off.
