Can it compare scanned documents?
Scans have no text to compare, but “Visual changes” still outlines areas that look different. For a word-by-word comparison, run OCR on both files first.
What is in the comparison report?
A summary with every change listed, followed by the changed pages side by side with the differences highlighted.
Are my files uploaded to a server?
No. This tool runs entirely in your browser, so your files stay on your device and are never sent anywhere. It even works with the internet switched off.
Is it free, and are there limits?
It is currently free, with no sign-up, no daily limit on files and no watermark added to your results.
